I didn't know Rowand was that slow.
I think he was expecting to be held up.

The Wings and Penguins are currently tied 2-2 in the third period in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. you can watch it on Versus.

IMO, Ron Villone is the MVP of this one.

I'll buy it. Stranding that runner at 3rd with 1 out was huge.

I thought Stammen pitched relatively well too despite being tagged with all of those earned runs.

Good games offensively by Bard and Hernandez.

haha, nah, just reminding people since it's the Finals and it isn't on a normal TV channel where people would see it.

should be an exciting last ~13 minutes. Pitt absolutely has to win this game.

great win! seems like a month since our last win...

we made Lincecum work, which is all we can ask for- and then the Nats went to town vs the Giants 'pen. ZIMMERMAN AND DUKES DELIVERED THE DAGGERS!!!

this series just got EXTREMELY winnable. possibly even a sweep.

Wish I actually got Versus :?

It's sad, but this win feels really flat to me.  What's the use?  This team is still 14-36.  22 freaking games under .500 and it's before the ASB. >:(

The season is ruined so at this point you have to take any positives you can. We should have never gotten into this hole to begin with but it's too late to do anything about it now. Another season is down the drain and it's only June. It would have been nice if we were at the worst like 8 games under .500 which is actually a hole that you can dig out of and fight towards .500. we have no hope for that.

We beat Lincecum with a rookie making his 3rd start on the mound. That doesn't happen very often.

Losing isn't fun. We're awful but at this point I'd still rather win than lose.
