Carpenter's totally wrong about it being a tough HR park. The umpires are making up the gap, awarding homers on balls that by more objective criteria would be considered doubles.

I finally caught up to real time.

Zimmermann looked good in the not first and sixth innings. Dealing and throwing heavy fastballs most of the night.

Dunn's shot was an absolute BOMB.

Also, I'm not sure if it was discussed, but the Mets have a "roving reporter" that goes to different sections of the stadium from time to time and he made his way out to the Subway sign (site of the Murphy "homer") and spoke with fans in both the section above the sign and below the sign. The fans that were in the section ABOVE the sign said "no way it hit the sign, the Mets caught a break," whereas the fans BELOW the sign said the ball hit the sign but they didn't hear a noise indicating contact. The sign is made of metal.
