I don't know about this inning, but Zimmermann was just missing his spots earlier. He deserves all of the blame for those runs.

sportsfan always (when one of his boys is on the mound) blames the coaching for his boys getting shelled. Maybe that was Cabrera's, Beimel, Bergmann's (last night) problem as well. It's ridiculous to assume that the pitchers are blameless and that it's the coaching that sucks. At some point the pitchers have to be held accountable for not executing the game plan.

I'm not even talking about just this game although there was some awful ass pitch selection tonight.

It's the last several years with St. Claire. The constant bending over for the Fish, rolling over for all the best hitters on other teams, etc. Just not good.
