Sigh.

Quote
The Nationals plan to purchase the contract of Mike MacDougal and option catcher Luke Montz to Double-A before their weekend series with the Phillies.

MacDougal exercised an out clause in his contract that forced the Nationals to promote him to the 25-man roster or lose him to free agency. With the motley crew currently comprising their bullpen, they have nothing to lose by giving him an audition. MacDougal is no great shakes, but NL-only leaguers should track his progress. Any reliever with a pulse and a streak of mediocrity is a candidate for closing duties.

The bottom of our lineup is serious trash.  Why in the world do you start Fat Ronnie over Hernandez?

Isn't Hernandez's thumb messed up or something?

LOL at Lou Montz, almost as bad as last year's Jesse Flores

Do you think they sent Santana back out so he could get the win?  They'd be assuming that the Mets will score in this inning.

My fantasy baseball opponent has Jordan Zim-with-2-Ns.
No wonder I can't catch up on K's!

we are just daring the Mets to take the lead back for good.

With our pen, isn't that pretty much a given?

Sigh.

who goes down for Flores? Bard hopefully.

I don't get why they want to carry 8 relievers though. Get rid of Tavarez or Wells.

let's play a game: what would the score be if Dukes was in the lineup?

tonight, I'd Say... 7-3 Nats.

The pathetic offense fails to score :pimp: after his MAGNIFICENT leadoff walk. Without Dukes, this lineup is atrocious outside of Zimmerman and Belliard. DUKES IS THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER ON THIS TEAM :az:

You could put a qualified pitcher like Clippard/Martin in his spot.

I'd say 11-0. Dukes' defense would save Zimnn, and he'd have a shutout going. With some key help from :pimp:, :az: EXPLODES for multiple home runs. SEND HIM TO ST. LOUIS!!

Dunn, either you are one smart mother freaker, or you just watched a ball drop 10 feet in front of the fence.
