That should be a basehit.... to break up the no-hitter, early!

Murphy has to be one of the worst fielders ever.

He routinely drops pop ups in the OF. Can't catch throws on the IF.

Guzman's at bat highlights the stupidity of your typical pitcher. He swings at everything thrown so Santana throws him crap off the plate. The result was a K. Amazingly noone else can figure this out and throws him strikes.  :icon_mrgreen:

And play who at SS, Hernandez?
yes.

not ideal but Guzman needs to be sat down for at least a game. He's not helping the team right now. Needs to shorten up his swing like he did in 1 AB last night where he slapped the ball to LF for a single. He has been swinging way too hard/uppercut lately. He blew a routine DP ball last night which cost us.

I would rather have him just use the off day.  Hernandez has proven that he is nothing more than a 2B and an emergency SS.

Do they not have stats on these guys?

Carp acting like Dunn wouldn't know how to hit Santana if he threw a change up.

Holy crap Josh. You let strike 3 go straight down the middle, really?

I can't stand Willingham. Takes way too many pitches down the middle for strikes. Him and Kearns are near equals.

3 Ks already for Johan.

And I had such high hopes for Willingham. The 3 called strikes were right down the middle. Sheesh.

I'd much rather see a guy swing and miss wildly than to take three perfect pitches right down the plate.

Just awful.
