Big Bang Theory
Pawn Stars
Parks and Rec (maybe the funniest show around)
30 Rock

I've watched some 30 Rock, it's pretty good.

The depressing thing is I don't have HBO, so I have to watch all HBO shows (like Entourage) online.

Add Community to that.  My favorite comedy in quite a while.

Has anyone seen any of these 30 for 30 films ESPN is doing?  Last weeks on July 17, 1994 was riveting.  Loved the one on Reggie Miller vs. the Knicks too.  Watching the one on Columbia and the Escobars right now.

One of the best things ESPN has done in years.

I've at least liked every one of them and a few have been fantastic.  The Len Bias one was very well done.  I hate most ESPN schlock, but these have been excellent.

Agreed. The Reggie Miller one was my favorite so far. I have only seen a couple though. I always intended to watch them but have never gotten around to recording them. I still haven't seen the Len Bias one. I want to see that one and the Ricky Williams one.

Agreed. ESPN is really annoying but 30 for 30 is one of the few things they do right.

I started up the show Weeds. Season 1-5 is on demand so its been pretty convenient. Pretty funny show. It can be really weird at times though.

I loved that show for the first two or so years, once they moved to San Diego, it lost me

The first two seasons were awesome. The third one was my least favorite so far. The fourth one, where they moved, has been okay. Nothing as great as the first two but its been funny because Doug and Andy are living in the same place so there is more stuff between them. They're freakin awesome.

I kind of liked the suburbia angle, I probably should give it another chance

Yeah, it was perfect for what the show was going for. I mean a housewife widow turns to drugs. What would be the perfect setting? A suburb. Now that the story progressed it's totally different, but still watchable IMO.

So every summer, I start watching a couple of TV shows and watch all the episodes on like surfthechannel or something. What shows should I watch this summer? I want at least one to be comedy. Here are the shows I currently watch:

The Office
How I Met Your Mother
Leverage
Entourage
Scrubs (over)

Any suggestions?

i've seen four of those shows - watch Entourage/HIMYM/Scrubs religiously - but would like to get into the office a bit more and pick up leverage.

you have to watch dexter.  one of my top 3 shows of all-time probably.

If you have HBO, True Blood is worth a shot. I'm going back and starting the Wire over again. Parks and Rec is also  decent, it didn't start out well but it hit its stride, same for 30 Rock

I've watched an episode of Leverage once and I thought it was a pretty awesome show. My problem is that I can't find a way to catch up since season 2 started recently.

season 2 is over, season 3 starts this summer. it's also on on demand, but it might be gone by now.

Dexter looks kinda like Tom Brady. What's it about?

EDIT: Just wikipedia'd it, that sounds awesome!

The Wire Season 5.  Maybe the best television ever made.

Everyone seems to like this show. I watched 5 or 6 episodes and quit. Might have to give it another chance.

About The Wire: It starts very slow. You may have to push yourself through the first 5-7 episodes. If you do that, make sure you follow along because it gets very good by the end of the first season and continues through the next 4 seasons. It may not be for everyone but I implore that you give the first season a full go and see if you like it or hate it.

As for Dexter: It is a really creepy show but if you can get past that its really fun to watch. Dexter is such an awesome character.
