I wonder what jewel of wisdom Adam Dunn is going to say after this game and getting his ass swept.

me neither. D-Crab had been very lucky in the previous innings. he has looked pretty crappy all day. no command at all.

1-run in first 4 innings with a couple k's.  considering what we've seen in our first two starts that's pretty good.

That's a home run in any other ball park except Fenway.

So now we know that had we been healthy last year, we still would have sucked.

Exactly what I feared, what I mentioned, and what I got berated for. Truth hurts.

Nah, that was a bad outing. It's better than he usually does, but that doesn't make it good.

yep. we're freaked. this one is over. hell for all intents and purposes this season is over. 0-3 is in an insurmountable deficit.

Miller's actually striding towards the plate instead of 1b.

If all you look at are the numbers, then I guess he pitched "well" but if you look at how he got there and then look at the 5-2 deficit you'd see he actually sucked the sweat off a dead man's balls.
