Of all sports, I am the least fan of basketball. However, I am going to a UVA game on Wednesday night because some of my contacts got me two free tickets in the Presidential Box. I'm not sure how many times I'm going to have that opportunity so I said, screw it. I'll get drunk and go watch some B-Ball.

If you're rooting for Virginia, at least you'll be able to see them get a win. Longwood is pretty terrible.

It was a pretty damn terrible game even though UVA blew them out of the water. It seemed for awhile there was a five or six minute period where no one scored. UVA missed a lot of easy lay ups, got stuffed, and one kid had a wide open dunk but he botched it. Neither team could get rebounds real well. It was pretty horrible, but UVA won and everyone went home happy.

The seats were f'n sweet! The wife and I got on the kiss cam too.

I hate those things.  The last thing I want to do at a game is make out, or watch anyone else doing the same.

And one time they had this guy and girl on, and the crowd kept urging them on, and the couple looked mortified, then the guy said something and I was able to read his lips "she's my sister".

Disgusting.

Well, they did end up NOT kissing, but most of the crowd didn't get it at all, and was still on them for quite a while.

Tyreke Evans is so freaking bad. I can't believe all that hype he got for nothing. Terrible player.

The Big East is crazy good. They're a combined 134-32 right now. Conference play starts next week. There should be a lot of good games.

I'm catching the Terps for the first time today.  Meeting a bunch of my old Allegany E dorm buddies at Mulligans   :glug: :glug:, the golf course bar, before heading over to Comcast.  Go Terps!!

Wow, what a game by Georgetown. UConn couldn't handle their zone at all.

George Mason plays at Dayton tonight at 7 PM. Game is being televised on MASN.

Should be a good one... I hope. Definitely GMU's toughest game of the year.

It'd be so nice if UNLV can hold on and beat Louisville here.

Bad loss for ND against St. John’s today. 4-17 from 3-point land isn't going to get it done. The guy who covered McAlarney did an awesome job.

I think GMU was a 19-point favorite. Should have taken that bet. :?

Great win for ND today over Georgetown. Needed that after the St. John's loss.

Nice win. Gtown finally falling back to mediocre levels after 2 straight losses.

GMU defeated Georgia State in a close game earlier this evening to improve to 3-0 in CAA Conference play.

GMU plays at Towson on Wednesday night which should be a good test for the Patriots considering 2 of their first conference games were at home and the other one was on the road against a terrible Drexel team.
And then on Saturday we face another tough Conference foe in Old Dominion at home.

Maryland loses at home to MORGAN STATE, 66-65!

GMU meanwhile defeated Towson on the road by 12 points to improve to 4-0 in Conference play.  :az:

freak, I wish we played the Terps to prove who the real best team in the area is. Too bad Gary Williams is a coward and will never agree to face us.

Gary Williams is overrated.  He hit the jackpot with that recruiting period where he got Francis, Baxter, Morris, Wilcox, Blake, and Dixon, but the Maryland teams surrounding that period have been nothing to write home about.
