yeah, no surprise there.

bullcrap rumors, still.

Tex needs to make his damn mind up already.
He must be trying to suck some more cash out of the situation at the last second.

Tex signing with us is huge now as well as the future. If he doesn't sign I think BRob will be traded as well as Nick.

Belkast I thought you said Tex was going to sign.

By the way are you Angelos's driver?

Olney says it's down to a 3-team race: Nationals, Angels, Red Sox. He said unless Mark gives Baltimore a big hometown discount they are out of the running. He said the Yankees haven't even made an offer. Olney also said it will be interesting to see if Tex goes to the team which will offer the most money which could be the Nationals or a team like the Red Sox or Angels where he has a better chance of winning.

Thanks for the recap. Basically a re-hash of what was stated this morning.

haha.  this isn't a shot @ you because i have a lot of buddies that are feeling the same way.  he was the one that said he wants it over by christmas.  his agent was asked about that yesterday and had no idea.  so it's definitely boras who is telling teix to take his time and wait for the highest bidder (boras - with the hope its the red sox).

i know a lot of you hate the nice guy characters on our team, but teix is a pretty stand up guy and would be the face of this franchise that's for sure.
