Seems like Hickey goes out to the mound way more than other pitching coaches.  Don't know if he's doing it to show Doo who's boss, to make sure the pitchers don't start thinking about the "analytics stuff" he doesn't understand, or because he needs the exercise, but it is super annoying and ineffective.
Again, I get your shtick is “everything is the worst” but who else is supposed to do the mound visit other than the pitching coach?

Doesn't look like you read what I wrote.  Go back and actually read it rather than jumping to a conclusion and then asking a silly question.

I think it probably has to do with the inexperience of the pitchers. Veterans don't need visits so much.

Not a bad point. 

It doesn't help, and he should stop, but might explain the intent.
