In other news, the same Dodgers team that whooped us last week got no-hit tonight

It's a joke how all these priks blame travel and late arrivals. They get to play a kid's game for gargantuan piles of cash in cathedrals where they are worshiped by lemmings. Yet, they're "tired?" How about a guy who works 12 hour days for just enough food to feed his kids? THAT's the guy who gets my sympathy.

Agreed.

These guys are professional athletes who get to travel on first class planes, stay at the fanciest hotels, and have access to the best trainers/medicine money can buy. On top of that, baseball is really not that fatiguing of a sport. I mean there is a reason you can play two games in one day.

Not sure that's necessarily true for all teams.

It's over folks. This teams "don't give a carp" has finally shown its true colors. We are done. There is no PASSION, no DESIRE, no (*&^)(^! Like watching paint dry.... but worse.... Unreal... Can the Nats refund my metro fare (each way)???? Seems a legit request... They did not play tonight... and I do not CARE how "tired"  they were... I was tired too.  A few beers in me and I felt great! Then I got to the stadium.... buzzkilll......

It'd be cool if even one D.C. team could not suck at home. It's been years now that it feels like every team is way better on the road than at home.

Caps: 23-13-5 (14/15), at home, picked to be in the Cup finals this coming season.... Based on Nats WS projections, we know what that means...

As Matt Williams says (and has kept saying most of the season), 'well, there's always tomorrow...'  sorry Matt, but that 'talking point' has been used up.

Internet went out after Gio gave up the three run homer. I took that as a suggestion to read a book. Williams brought in Fister and it got even worse. Well, no surprise. Start Trea Turner ...2B or LF...doesn't matter...give Desmond his day off and put Turner at SS...just play the kid.

I wouldn't start him yet.  Maybe against the next left handed pitcher or in the San Diego series

Turner always goes o-fer in his first three or four games at a new level...then hits .300 - .350. That's Turner's "clock". Might as well start it now, especially since the Nats don't have Span to lead off.

With Yunel getting banged up last night and Tony Two Bags struggling, I'd like to see Danny Boy at third, the resurgent Desi at SS, and Trea at second tonight.
