by "always" you mean once every couple of weeks, on average 
And honestly I don't know why it happens. My hosting plan should be more than capable of handling the amount of traffic we have right now, and the forum flies along quite nicely most of the time. Not really sure what causes the random freak-ups.
I guess. it's still frustrating as hell though when it does go down.
