DiNucci throws 4 INTs last night and Seattle still beats previously undefeated Houston.

Defenders up 14-3 at halftime in the Dome at America's Center. A win here basically seals the division.

Defenders defend, remain unbeaten.

The BattleHawks were worthy adversaries for the Defenders and the St. Louis crowd was big and lively. The Dome at America's Center is one of the toughest road environments in the XFL and the Defenders managed to win there.

The league needs to make some changes next season.  I don't know what they were thinking putting a team in a small market Vegas when the Raiders just moved there.  Seattle is firmly a Seahawks town and is fairly saturated with sports with the Mariners, Kraken, and Sounders all having recent or newfound success.

The Vipers should go from Vegas to San Diego (San Diego State has new digs so that might work), and the Sea Dragons might be better off packing up and heading to Portland.

Last night was first time I watched for any length of time. First half. Couldn’t get into it. Playing in a soccer stadium is smart.

Defenders improve to 7-1 with a win over Seattle and have clinched a playoff spot.

They will be playing for the XFL North crown on Sunday, April 30. The only question now is whether the game will be at Audi Field or in Seattle or St. Louis. My wife says she'll let me attend if the game is in DC!

My Aussie neighbour has become like The XFL Superfan.  I guess the beer snake is as much fun as burning furniture at the tip back in Wollongong  :P

Edit: I do want to go to a game - this could rekindle my interest in pointy ball.

Tickets are on sale now for the XFL North Championship Game at Audi Field. The winner goes to the overall XFL championship.

Anyone know what the "C" level premium seating is like at Audi Field?

The DC Defenders close out the regular season with a win in San Antonio. They are 9-1, the best regular season record in XFL history. They will have a home playoff game next Sunday and I will see you at Audi Field for it!

A Defenders win today essentially means Washington versus Dallas for the championship on May 13.

Defenders fans have waited a long time for this. Hope they savor the moment!

Is anyone else surprised the league made it through a year?

Just got back from a wild and rowdy Audi Field where the game was over by the start of the 4th quarter. The Sea Cucumbers imploded with penalties and the Defenders are going to the championship. Who's going to the Alamodome on May 13 to see the championship game?

Defenders not defending. Will they lose to a 5-6 team??
