Hello fellow Sumo fan! I've followed the sport since the mid 1980's, when TV coverage began over here. Those were the days - from the glory of Chionofuji (still the greatest) to the tragedy of Onokuni (too much, too soon...) 
Wife and I used to watch in the late 80s as the highlights were on TV in Hawaii. Lost track after that but we went to the September 2019 basho one day in Tokyo when visiting and that rekindled interest. Especially for my wife. Have been watching mostly on NHK world as they show the highlights.
