I have the cassette tape of that soundtrack somewhere. My dad loved that tape and in the 1980s we listened to it frequently in the car on the way to or from Boy Scout trips. One of the other kids' fathers heard it playing and said his favorite song on that tape is "Neutron Bomb" (referring to the song you mention).
(I can still play the tape if I were so inclined and I could figure out where it is; there's a cassette deck downstairs and three of our cars have cassette players, though none of them get used very often. I think I most recently used the one in the car I regularly drive back in July 2018 when our relatives from Fort Myers were visiting and their kids had not seen a cassette player, so I pulled a Weird Al tape out of the center armrest and played it.)
