They're really cheap. They even shrink when you wash them in cold water.

I thought I read that a roster move needed to be made before today as Wangs DL assignment expired WED or Thursday. Has anyone read differently and what is the corresponding roster move?

I don't think that anything is official as of yet, but the expected move by most of the media is Detwiler to AAA and Gorzelanny to the 'pen.

You're confusing his rehab stint with his stay on the DL.

My take was once you are removed from the DL and you start rehab it is 30 days until you have to be activated.

A player isn't removed from the DL when they start their rehab. In fact a player must be on the DL in order to be sent out on a rehab.

I played the game on MLB 11: The Show last night. Wang went six strong innings, yielding 4 hits and 2 ER. The Nats won 4-2 behind two Werth homers, which shows how unrealistic a video game can be.

I have a feeling people will be surprised by his rockstar status among Taiwan natives.

Wouldn't be surprised with at least 28K at the park tonight. Would make for a great story if he could pitch well, too!

The referenced co-worker has never gone to a game until today. He also said his friend is friends with Yi Jianlian and they have a whole group going.

Really wish I was heading downtown to check out the hoopla. Should be fun.
