We need Wang to pitch his best game of the season tomorrow. I want nothing less than a sweep of the Mets and 3rd place. 3 of 4 doesn't make it. We will still be one game behind them.

Didn't get home til about the 7th tonight. Sounds like Wang was solid?

He looked pretty good. Still got some work today but he's showing promise.

He was good today. Deserved better than the end result, Got whored by a horrendous CB Buchner who should have been put out to pasture long ago

I agree. Nothing fantastic. Gave up some hits. Got a couple Ks. The good news is that his velocity is up around 92/93 which is where it was prior to his injury. Remarkable considering the injury.

If the team store still has some 2XL Wang shirts I might have to pick one up on Friday. I'm down with keeping Wang around, he seems to be worth at least a flier for ST.

pretty much, yes. He had a couple of serious strikeouts in the 4th.

I would be happy with Wang in the rotation next season.

That makes:

SS, Zmann, Wang, Lannan, trade/free agent.

I'll take it. And if Det rounds out the rotation, that's fine too. All that means is that we can trade-for/sign an outfield bat.

Unfortunately one was a sellout "home" game against the Phillies and the other was part of a traditional doubleheader...

Yeah, the other two big draw nights for him were the last Saturday game and a Friday game.

To be fair, I did see quite a few TW flags at the park. I could definitely see a 1K attendance bump based on the TW 2Pac but not enough of one for us to dole out some ridonkulous contract to Wang Bang to feed his three families.
