Haha. The world is against the Nats. Everyone rearranges the colors on our uniform to look like a target.

Seriously though, have you seen him this series? He's getting to everything even though he's 37. He loves suiting up against the Nats.

I don't want to see Austin Kearns in a Nats uniform ever again.

make Dukes the permanent RFer.

I was about to say something about that. Kearns is cooked.

Nice walk by Bernadina, though Pelfrey wasn't giving him anything.
Yeah, that was a good walk. Gets the #1 spot up next inning instead of the pitcher spot.

I bet Dukes goes back to LF in the Spring with Mills in center and they put AK back in RF, at least to start the season. They might want to give AK one more crack. It's his contract year so he might be motivated to produce.

He's basically the infield version of Jay Payton. They both can have great fielding games, but they can have some really bad ones, too. They've been around this long for a reason, though.

Our pitching this series has been laughable.

The pitch selection has been very questionable.

Maybe it's just me, but the fastballs seem a lot faster on MASN now.

They just look faster than on past broadcasts. Even OP's fastball looks wicked fast to me.

He throws high 80s, maybe topping at 90.

Damn, why does EB keep hitting the ball in the air? He needs to swing more level.

Yeah the Dameon Easley's, Cody Ross's, Khalil Greene's love playing us and sticking it to us.

As far as Kearns goes, he's a nice 4th outfielder on a contender.  Milledge in center, Dukes in right, get Matt Holliday or a power bat leftfielder and you have a solid outfield and a pretty darn good line-up.

THE BEAST HAS INVADED SHEA STADIUM! all i have to say is...Dukes is the DEFINITION of a beast. he UNLEASHED on that pitch!!!! his swing is VICIOUS!

easily the strongest player in baseball.

FUTURE 40/40 FORCE.

'09 is destined to be an amazing all-star yr for Dukes.

All we can do is beat both of them.

So, you are for us tanking for the first pick now?  :)

I was away from my computer for dinner but you should know my answer to that question already.

I will dignify you with this: if Dukes can play 150 games next year and matches the production we've seen from him from June on this year, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him selected from our team.

Milledge has had some bum ass luck this year. He's hit so many balls right at outfielders...

Yeah, but I thought you might have changed your mind since you said you didn't mind if we lost tonight.

Damnit, Milledge has scolded two balls tonight right at fielders. Bad luck.

Anyone think the mets will throw at one of our hitter over what Dukes did after he hit his bomb?
