Hell Yeah. Beautiful curve ball and a nice tag by Hernandez.

Lannan was a great find in the 11th round.

Is anyone else having some issues with sound?  For me it's incredibly low, and if you turn it up, you can barely tell that not only can you hear the nats announcers, but I'm hearing the O's game too.  wtf

Nope. But consider yourself lucky to not have to hear Debbi Taylor who in spite of years of experience does not seem to improve.

Let's hope that's not indicative of our young players.

Good eye from Boone.

Not that it's going to matter.

lmfao. stupid ass umpire. He gave Boone the benefit of the doubt on 4 close pitches.

I guess he's the type of ump that has a different strike zone for every batter depending on how experienced they are. Hate that.

Especially considering Dukes has a better eye than Boone.

Not right now. I'm just following the box score on milb.com. I might listen in during the later innings.

This lineup blows.

And it's probably the best one we're capable of putting out there right now. Get ready for Strasburg.

Quick Update (up to the bottom of the second):  Potomac is hitless through 2, the Pelicans were hitless until the second.  Just right this second, Travis Jones knocked a 3 run shot off of Mandel.

P-Nats 0, Pelicans 3

Yeah, now that I look at it closer this lineup is crap. Zim, Dukes, and Mills are the only threats really.  It's the best we can do. Flores could be back in a week or two.

Damnit. That blows. We should score some runs off of the Pelicans' mediocre starter though.

Didn't Ryan Howard win an MVP hitting .260?
