I'd let Martis start in Bergmann's spot for the rest of the season. Why not?

Estrada warming up, I get the feeling Manny hates Bergmann as much as we do.

Is that possible?

Damn, Bergmann's going nuts on himself. At least we get to see Estrada in a long-relief situation.

There's no reason to pay a guy a major-league salary to walk people. What an amazing waste.

That's not crap. The young guys are solid. A lot better than this year's rotation full of mediocrity (Perez, Bergmann) who won't be here next year.

Jordan Zimmermann is also going to be in the mix.

Probably somebody talked to him and told him to shape up.

If you think that Balester or Martis are going to better than what Perez did this year (4.30 ERA) I'll just have to say that you are high.

And let's not assume Mock is a bullpen guy going forward. He has a starter's arsenal.

I've said this numerous times - I think people have to get out more and watch some other teams once in awhile to be reminded what a REAL baseball team looks like.  Believe me, we aren't going anywhere with a rotation like that.

Huh? They could both easily have ERAs under 4.30. Perez is mediocre crap. 5th starter at best.

Definitely. We have plenty of young starters. I'm more worried about our bullpen and offense going into next year.
