Potomac-Wilmington (6th Inning):  Boomer Whiting, who has the only RBI of the game off a sacrifice fly in the 3rd, leads off the frame with a first pitch single over the third baseman's head.  Michael Martinez bunts Whiting over to second.  Dan Lyons flies out to the centerfielder for out #2. Andrew Lefave lines one out to the left fielder to leave Boomer Whiting stranded.

Detwiler is at 82 pitches through five innings, this should be his last frame.  The first batter grounds the ball to Detwiler.  Detwiler is inducing massive ground balls now, his ratio is now 8 GO:4 AO.  Former Potomac Cannon, Brad Correll, hits a blooper to center field for the second Wilmington hit of the game.  Severino is now warming up in the Potomac pen.  Detwiler is starting to fell some fatigue, he walks Jeff Bianchi to put a runner in scoring position.  Randy Knorr takes a stroll to the mound, along with the rest of the infield.  After a short conference, Knorr decides to leave Detwiler in for the rest of the inning, pending a blow-up.  Bad decision by Knorr, as Detwiler shows his characteristic trait, a fifth walk.  End of the game for Detwiler, his line:  5.1 IP, 2 H, 5 BB, 4 SO.  He leaves the game in line for the win, but with the base loaded.

The Dominican lefty, Atahaulpa Severino, comes in for Ross Detwiler.  Severino has not let up a run since August 14, this is his second appearance of the series.  This season, Severino has inherited 17 runners, stranding 14 of them.  Josh Johnson flies out to right field, Michael Burgess rifles the ball home as Brad Correll attempts to go home.  He returns to third after he sees the strength of Burgess' arm.  Severino strikes out Jeff Howell on a 2-2 swinging strike to get Detwiler off the hook in the 6th.  This is the second time that the Blue Rocks have left the bases loaded tonight.
