Winston-Potomac (bottom of the 12th):  This ties the longest game of the year for the P-Nats.  I missed it, but Brown got out.  Placensia takes four balls for a walk.  Word on Burgess (1-4, 2B and a SO), is that he was ejected after throwing his batting helmet down because of the missed HBP call by the ump.  Whiting strikes out, after being ahead in the count.  Stephen King flies out to send this game into the 13th, now officially the longest game of the P-Nats season.

As a side note, women are idiots and have little consideration of sports fans.  I could have been at this game, but supposedly had to pick up my GF from the airport.  She failed to tell me until an hour ago that she had changed her flight until tomorrow.

I've ranked Gorman as the 3rd worst ump behind the plate, following Dreckman (#1) and Laz Diaz (a distant #2).  But, I haven't had any problem with him tonight since I started watching about the 4th.

Wilmington-Potomac (top of the 13th):  Leatherman returns to the mound.  Potomac is running thin in their bullpen, leading me to believe that they will leave Leatherman out there for a while or turn to some starters that are supposed to pitch later in the week.  The first batter singles.  Howell, who got Wilmington's only run off a HR, tries to bunt but instead pops it up to Dan Leatherman.  The second batter grounds out to Stephen King for out #2.  Solano is a little late yet again on the attempted steal by the runner.  Runner in scoring position for Wilmington with two outs.  Ortiz grounds out to Michael Martinez to send this game to the bottom of the 13th (Solano-Lyons-Martinez).

It sounds like Leatherman is done for the night, after pitching 2 innings, letting up 2 hits.  Don't know who they will bring on if this game goes to the 14th, maybe Ozzie Rodriguez.

now we just gotta hope San Diego wins because we'll lose the #1 spot otherwise.

The best part of this is imagining the pissed off Phillies fans in the stadium right now. My guess is they're heading for the exits...

freak YEA GUZMAN, that was nasty hit, with the speed on base that was for sure a 3 run double.

Damn, i love this winning we got going, if we can show this all year, with an added power bat, and somehow still get last and add Strasburg, in a couple years we could be dynamite.
