Philly fans are probably excited over the injury. They are the lowest common denominator when it comes to sports fans.
agreed...city of brotherly @ssholes.

that would be awesome if the AAA Nats moved to Richmond
it would be, but it's not physically possible with the way the AAA clubs are situated.  A low A team will probably move in there, and probably not next season.

that would require a team uprooting from where they are, moving to richmond, and then affiliating with the Nationals.

Yeah I have been following the situation all season, very little chance they end up in Richmond.  Most likely is back to New Orleans, from what I have been reading.

No, stop that!...we should talk with him and try to understand his agression!   :|

A sprain has got to be better than a break, but sprains lead to  more sprains.

If it ends up being nothing more than a high ankle sprain then we'll be fine because he'll just sit out the season and should be more than ready by ST.

Too bad, too. I went to a game there in July and there were lots of curly W caps. Seemed like there were at least as many of those as there were Braves caps.

That way we can find out if we are actually responsible for the aggression he is displaying towards us.

That would suck.

Let's hope it turns out OK in the long run.

I went when Columbus was there...and indeed there were many Nats fans - might be some animosity towards the Braves around there now since they pulled up stakes though.

I don't see it happening within the next two years, but I don't see why they wouldn't try to work something out so they can move there after that.

Yeah. I was just thinking that. I watched them play the Durham Bulls. Thank God for major league ball. It was a poorly played game all around.

it's very complicated JMU...but in a nutshell - there are no AAA teams that are in the position to move right now - all have new contracts and many have brand new stadiums.  I too wish it would happen because Richmond's not far from where I live but it's just not possible.

I can honestly say that I would never cheer an injury to an opposing player....unless of course that opposing player was Chase Utley.

Which teams are down near Richmond exactly?  And do you know by any chance how long these contracts are for?

Hamels is on track for a CG shut-out. His pitch count is fairly low.
