Well they would be wrong, at least in my opinion. We already have young studs producing at the ML-level. The majority of the Braves "prospects" are still in the Minors.

Yeah most of the guys I named are 19-22 years old and probably won't see the light of a major league field for a few more years.

the GCL Nats are currently playing the GCL Phils in the third game of the championship (Nats lost the second game).  They are down 4-0 in the 4th.  McGeary got rocked for 5 runs in 3.1 innings yesterday, Graham Hicks came in and pitched 3.1 scoreless innings, letting up a lone hit.  The Nats failed to make a comeback though, and lost 4-5.

damn. Looks like they will lose. I see S-Gon continues to rake. He better start next year in Htown.

But in their eyes, we have those "young studs" starting every game, and still, we're last place in the Majors. I agree that we do have a promising future, but I wouldn't say that the Braves have nothing to be excited about with their minor league players.

JP Ramirez continues to tear it up as well.  He is a guy that I think can shoot through the system.  He is going to be a professional hitter than can hit for average and some power.  Great steal at round 15.

God, our runners have to be three or four steps off the bag to get a safe call at first.

Dukes really has an amazing swing, considering how much of his upper body he actually uses.  Most players have to use their whole body to generate the power he does with just his torso and arms.

Zimmerman reached on an infield single.

Dukes struck out swinging.

Not sure why the free-swinging Aaron Boone took an 0-1 fastball right down the middle.
