Colome's pitching?  Guess that means I've got time to go make a sandwich.

Break up the Nats! We don't need no freaking Strasburg.

He played well again: 13/18 119 Yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs.

Much better than Campbell's 1/4 3 Yards 0 TDs 1 INT.

Colt Brennan has seen the last of his playing time for '08.

(Image removed from quote.)
And I don't think we are going to get him. With (almost) everyone back healthy and with some reinforcements coming up in a few days we will surely finish better than the dreadful Mariners and possibly the Padres.

yeah, 13/18 is much better than 1/4.

but Brennan isn't going to instantly save the Redskins like most people seem to think.

I think it's only a select few that think this way.

With the way some people here think I wasn't sure. I'm sure some people already think he has had impact in a 24 hour period. :?

The way this team is playing, I wouldn't bet on that!

I wouldn't be mad. I think things have been so bad for us that some people are under the delusion that Strasburg (as good as he is) will come in a save the franchise over night. That isn't going to happen with one college pitcher. He would just be one piece. My fear is that the Lerners will use that (and paying him high dollar) to buy more patience and to keep from spending in the immediate future.

I would take that bet in heartbeat. Unless Campbell and Collins have season ending injuries Brennan will not be playing this season. And if he does, we're in a crapload of trouble.

I really want Strasburg but if it doesn't happen, oh well. It would suck but it's not the end of the world. He's not the only great player out there.

You know, I don't think I've ever heard Guzman speak before.  I think I just started to believe he was like the Sasquatch or something and just doesn't speak.

He was here yesterday so I'm sure he was roaming around batting practice tonight.

Huh?  Who what?

"which hit was the hardest to get?"

my god, Debbi asks the dumbest ass questions.

a triple is always the hardest one to get.
