Mock is nasty.  He needs to stay in the rotation.

100% agree. 9 K's in 14 outs last time out? Seriously? I don't care about the ER given that he is a young pitcher but he has stuff. I don't quite see that from Balester.

It will be interesting to see if he can beat Howard next year. I think it will come down to number of AB, EB leads off so that should help, but Howard's lineup gets more hits so he may end up with more ABs.

Howard strikes out once every 2.99 AB. Bonifacio is now striking out once every 3.00 AB.

Balester did make it through 6, tonight.  That's better than most of our starters have done recently.

6IP, 5R, 5 BB, 4 Hits - if thats good I don't know whether to laugh or cry

Well at least Bonifacio would be on pace to hit 40 HRs ... oh, wait ... :(

*crap*

Unfortunately you have to get on base to get steals (no walks btw). It'd be awesome if you could just steal 1st ;)

He's OK, but if he's in the rotation next season, we didn't do enough in the offseason.

This freaking team is pathetic. Way too many lefties. Sad we have no righties to use off the bench.

2005-2007 seasons in the minors EB had a .695 percent hit rate on bunts- by far the highest in minors or majors for anyone with above 75 or more attempts- WHY ISN'Y HE BUNTING IN THE MAJORS

such bullcrap that we had harris and orr up there with a lefty pitching. bullcrap. Bowden's management of the roster is his biggest fault BY FAR.

We should sign CC this offseason. Pay whatever he wants. He is worth it. We have no #1 prospects in our system.

Boone, Belliard, Dmitri, and WMP are all supposed to be on the bench. There's only so much Bowden can do when guys go down or end up sucking.
