Forecast from Channel 7's Doug Hill (unless he's an unreliable source for everyone, too!):
The remnants of Fay are the next weather focus as the system continues to bring good rains to the southeast. They system will trek north and east towards our vicinity, however there are big discrepancies with the computer guidance. The models are divided on the path of the heavier showers. The key will be just how strong the ridge of Canadian high pressure will be mid-week. (The stronger the high, the less likely the hefty rain can move east into the metro.)
Clouds increase Wednesday with a few showers developing, especially west. Then for Thursday mostly cloudy skies look likely with some scattered showers, with the best chance for more appreciable rain to the west. Only time will tell which model is more accurate. Both days temperatures remain well below average in the mid to upper 70s.
