ive never seen a team so inept at scoring with bases loaded and no outs. usually it means one run or, sometimes, zero runs.

Orr has no business starting in the big leagues.

I was "watching" the game at ESPN Gamecast and they had a stat that there is an 87.25% chance of scoring with 0 outs and bases loaded.  The compiler of that stat has never seen the 2008 Washington Nationals offense.

That crap about Zimmerman being the face of the franchise is nothing more than hype. He's definitely a nice player but he's not what most people here seem to think he is. I remember when people thought Brad Wilkerson was the face of the franchise.

So basically we're in the 12.75%.  :?

I like Zimmerman, he just seems like a very dependable player, but with a low ceiling

regardless of how mock finishes today, we should see him more as a starter this year. he's been striking out everyone

Why is he starting?

Because of the doubleheader.  Manny wanted a spot starter in there to give the guys an extra day to rest.

mock gives up a double, 4-1. mock as a long reliever/bullpen guy may be the way to go, he's got a lot of K's and has good stretches. either way, he didn't pitch too poorly today.

He's still young, he can develop into a starter.

Shell is nasty.  Him and Joel are the only two I want back from the pen next year.  Maybe Saul.

I'm sure the bullpen will do great today since we don't have much chance of winning.
