huh?

What part of that do you want explained?  He has me on ignore.  My quote is the one he's talking about in response to balks and walks.

At least their bullpen is worse than ours
No way. Our bullpen is garbage.

I blame Hanrahan and Manny an equal amount. Rivera didn't even get a ****ing chance to get out of the jam. I'm almost sure he would have gotten out of it or at the worst given up 1 run.

he walked the bases loaded, we'd be blaming acta more if he left him in, joel is the closer- he should have gotten out of it

If you want to build a contending team Saul Rivera shouldn't be your top set up guy and Joel Hanrahan sure as hell shouldn't be your closer.

Just a horrible pitch to throw in that situation. If he wanted to throw the slider he should have thrown it in the dirt. Don't understand why he wouldn't stay with his bread and butter fastball.

no confidence.

which is why he won't work out in the long run as a closer. he's afraid of getting hit, so he doesn't throw his best stuff.

That's even funnier than the balk rule interpretation. I almost wish you hadn't quoted that sportsfan but it at least provided a little extra comic relief.

Rivera just missed on the 3-2 pitch to the previous batter. He would have been a lot less likely to give it up than Joel.

exactly.

but some folks don't let facts get in the way of blaming Manny.

I blame this all on Zimmerman.  He screwed up the No-Hitter with a curve ball to first and then was playing 30 feet off third base on the bouncer to third with two outs in the ninth.
He should have been playing near the line.  It would have been an easy play to second or first.
Rivera got hung out to dry by Manny having to pitch a second inning because Ayala is so bad he cannot trust him.
This was not Hanrahan's fault.  The worst thing you can do is bring a pitcher in with two outs and the bases loaded.

I called the move to bring in Joel a bad one BEFORE he gave it up. Not hindsight on my part.

Its down to Bonifacio, this would be an opportune time to break the slump.

LOL this post made me laugh

That play you are referring to was an error. It was charged to Belliard, not Zimmerman.
Zimmerman plays where they tells him to. I didn't realize he was supposed to be a psychic.

I don't know about that. He made a nice glove play to begin with and the throw to 1B was not that bad. Belliard is the one that messed up that play, IMO.

Bonifacio is quickly becoming a real NAT. Alot of K's and a low average.

Our weak hitters are hitting WAY too many balls in the air.
