Finally we get to see Langerhans play first.

And his .395 OBP.

And the Colome 2 out meltdown begins...

EDIT: and we escape with only 1 run of damage.

Ugly but I'll take it. Guzman on base.

EDIT: Wow. If that was a DP again...

EDIT: Kearns our 0/3 cleanup hitter

EDIT: Sheesh actually hits one but right at someone.

embarrassing performance. I'm sure Manny will give CC a BJ in the post-game presser.

Anyways, if the Lerners really want to show everyone they are not cheap they'll sign CC to a 6-year $150 million dollar contract.  :?

can't say I am entirely surprised that Sabathia shut us out.  he is a MONSTER.

say whatever you want about "they rolled over" or whatever.

when push comes to shove, Sabathia is arguably the best pitcher in baseball, and he just showed us why.

Out with a whimper. We're shutout.

Here you got hitters. You earned it except for Milledge and Flores. According to the radio guys, our league leading 16th time being shutout,

gotta say it was encouraging to see Milledge still hitting though.

C.C. certainly quieted the Nats bats. very humbling. imo, CC = best pitcher in baseball.

im willing to give this team a break for their loss tonight considering Sabathia shut out 3 of the 5 teams he's faced since becoming a member of the Brewers. He's clearly in the zone. A CG SO was entirely expected by me and not surprised, looking for better play tommorow.

yeah blame balester.  5 innings, 3 earned runs (even though zimmerman tagged that mofo out so should be 2 runs).  he's 22 guys.
