Isn't like sweeping a double-header almost impossible? Especially on the road when you have the worst record in baseball (not for long)!  :shock:

I bet the Rockies go apecrap over this series. They were like 7-8 games behind Arizona with a 10 game homestand at the beginning of the week. Now 4 days later they lost 3 of 4 to the Nats and now have absolutely no chance.

I know I did. What were the odds that the Rockies would only score 1 run the rest of the game and we'd kick Jimenez' ass? Crazy. Man this team is a load of fun. They never quit like the old team would when they'd get down early.

it is hunger.

we've got young kids, and bench players who are hungry to prove themselves worthy of being a permanent fixture in the majors.

Natsville is the land of opportunity for these types of players.

as opposed to the comfy, "I'm a proven veteran" types that we've carried all season before.

Oh man, that'd be sad. Unless Brees breaks his leg or the Saints go up by 30+ points in a game, he'll never see the field this season.
