Hey sportsfan what are you going to do about the question in Y Not that asks our record over the next 7 games when we actually have to play 8?
I didn't realize that the MIL series was a 4 game series. I'll probably just include that game with the homestand next week.

Hammerhan is looking like a good closer.

WHAT a great series. Not many take 3 out of 4 at Coors.

Hanrahan is our closer.

I'm not ready to proclaim this just yet.

I couldn't let the Nats have 6 hours of my day, but from what I saw, they had a great day on the overall.

We won't lose another game the rest of the season.

Isn't like sweeping a double-header almost impossible? Especially on the road when you have the worst record in baseball (not for long)!

I bet the Rockies go apecrap over this series. They were like 7-8 games behind Arizona with a 10 game homestand at the beginning of the week. Now 4 days later they lost 3 of 4 to the Nats and now have absolutely no chance.

Only 19 wins to go to ensure we don't lose 100 games. I thought it would be impossible, but now I think it is very possible.

They're probably already regretting the Livan signing.

I know I did. What were the odds that the Rockies would only score 1 run the rest of the game and we'd kick Jimenez' ass? Crazy. Man this team is a load of fun. They never quit like the old team would when they'd get down early.

it is hunger.

we've got young kids, and bench players who are hungry to prove themselves worthy of being a permanent fixture in the majors.

Natsville is the land of opportunity for these types of players.

as opposed to the comfy, "I'm a proven veteran" types that we've carried all season before.

OT: Anyone watching Brunell playing QB for the Saints? He just threw a nice deep pass.

I wonder how many of the Brunell Zombies from ES have switched loyalties to the Saints because of MB.

Oh man, that'd be sad. Unless Brees breaks his leg or the Saints go up by 30+ points in a game, he'll never see the field this season.

It is hard to believe the Mets were that stupid to believe he was a troublemaker and a bad influence....well, they are the Mets so maybe not.
