Football game threads must be odd. I couldn't go to a game thread for football. A Redskins game demands my undivided attention.

don't see why.  :icon_mrgreen:

JMad is talking so much crap this year he is reminding me a little of the way metssuck was talking last year about the cowboys.

Greatest Giant of all-time, IYO?

LT.  not only the greatest Giant, but also one of the greatest overall players ever.  he redefined Linebacker.

that said, I'm only 27, so I don't have a lot of knowledge of the OLD, OLD players.

well, to be fair, I talked the same crap last year.  even when we were 0-2.  the BPG forum was sick of me during football season, lol.

I can't wait till I can realistically talk crap in baseball.

Amani Toomer.

I...I...I just can't bring myself to say Tik.......yeah f*ck him.

well, I can't really say that, from a pure performance standpoint. because he *is* the Giants all-time leader rusher.  but still f*ck that guy.

Haha. I thought Hampton was good...Ottis, too. Tarkenton was a solid QB.

OJ was a beast.  But Toomer has team records over him, and he's been a ROCK on one side of the field or the other for a LOOOOOOONG time.

Frank Gifford was their best offensive player and Y.A. Title deserves honorable mention.

Old enough to know a little MLB and NFL history. But I could be one of the oldest members here though.

I was joking about being one of the oldest members here.  My point was, for example, that you don't need to be 90 years old to know that Babe Ruth was a great player.

I'm in my late 40s, and I barely remember Y.A. Tittle. I do remember that famous picture of him kneeling on the turf and blood coming down the side of his head. Great pic. Oh, here it is.
