He's 0/5 with 3 Ks so far playing for the Clips including his first AB tonight.

Damn, our offense is impressive.

yea, but it takes trade offs to get a defense like ours

That commercial could have been summed up thusly:

"Politician says he'll do whatever you want if you vote for him.  Really.  He promises."

What I like about Balester tonight: it looks like he's going after the strike zone on the first pitch.  I wish more of our pitchers were do that.

The ump is giving him a smaller strike zone, unfortunately.

True that.  I hate that other politician guy.  Now Politician, there's a guy I can trust.

Bonaficio just drove in his first run since being traded here. He's now 11/22 batting .500 with 3 walks and 2 Ks.

Don't worry, he won't drive in any runs up here either.  That would require there to be runners on base.

So it wasn't just me imagining that he said that! Carpenter and Taylor need to be gone ASAP.

Pathetic. 2-outs and he gives it up. Nothing worse than that. Where the freak is the off-speed stuff?

Meh, who cares.  He could pitch a perfect game and we'd still lose 0-0 in 37 innings.  They'd call the game and just give us the loss because we're the Nationals.

Well his fastball has had good movement, but the location of that pitch was sickening.  PitchTrax revealed that it was in the very center of the zone. >:(

Sometimes errors can hurt you in later innings. Utley should not have been hitting that inning. Of course Balester needs to be better than that.

Yep, I can't stand when pitchers pull a Redding and give up runs with 2 outs or in favorable pitcher counts (i.e. 0-2). No sense for it.

Bernadina doubled and EB got thrown out at home. Man, he has recorded an inordinate amount of outs on the basepaths since being dealt here.

Like who? Most are injured. Is it just me or are the Redskins having a ridiculous amount of injuries compared to the rest of the league?

We should see tons of them. I heard Rogers was practicing today and should be ready for the opener   I hope we get to see our OL stay healthy so we can see our offense function at 100%. I haven't heard much about McIntosh though.
