The only person thus far to not hit the ball extremely hard against the Nats was Casey Blake.

Aren't they all?  :icon_frown:

Man we were bad last year but at least we were competitive, especially after our 9-25 start. We then went 56-56 over our last 128 games.

Even Derek Lowe gets his money's worth.

At least next years draft class is supposed to be great - we could end up with 2 picks in the top ten

How would we have 2 in the top 10?

9 up, 9 down. I would not expect anything else. We have never hit sinker-ballers like Hudson, Webb, and Lowe and probably never will due to stupidity.

I'd much rather have the first pick next year and pick 9a instead of Crow. His mechanics are awful.

ah. Damn I forgot about that. They only have about 2 weeks left to get the crap done. I know they are cheap bastards but I just don't see Crow not signing for his own sake. He would be incredibly dumb to pass up being the #9th overall pick and risking injury by playing another year of college ball. What are the odds he has a better year and improves his draft status? Very little.

A bunch of apes could run a sports network better than the fools at MASN.

I just dont understand why this team is cheap- our tv revenue is guaranteed thanks to angelos being an idiot, our tick sales are ok, and the dc market can generate good revenue for a winner

I don't get it either. As soon as this team starts winning the fans will show up in droves at Nationals Park. If not, our attendance will continue to dwindle, even as early as next season.

This ump has been very, very generous towards Lowe all game. Predictable. We are the scum of the league. We get no respect from umpires.

Serving up BP. Might as well hire one of the posters here on WNFF as GM since Bowden doesn't give a crap. Perez is and has been garbage. I'd rather have Mock/Clippard in his spot.
