Theodore freaks himself and the Caps every time he leaves the goal to get the puck (I don't know what that's called).

There's gotta be a cooler/shorter name for it. Like "chasing the puck" or something.

holy hell, Steckel. Just as he comes out of the box after serving a penalty he immediately commits another penalty. Unfreaking believable

edit: nice PK

 I wish the Caps were playing against their own goalies. They'd score 15 goals a night.

It's unreal how well these freaking random goalies play against us. Khabibulin has played the game of his life tonight.

The Caps dominated an inferior team like they should. That was a really fun game. If it weren't for a stellar game by Chicago's goalie the Caps would have scored 6-7+ goals. The offense was clicking magnificently. Theodore was solid after the first period although he wasn't tested a lot.

Good game. Let's whip Vancouver's ass on Monday.

The offense had better show up, because Luongo doesn't let them in quite as easily as anyone else.

Big, loud crowd, and lots of Caps alums down in the main concourse signing autographs, which looked really good on the replica banners thet were being handed out.  Rod Langway was there, to name but one.  Great night.

I don't think there is any such thing as a "Caps naysayer" on this board. Everyone seems to be pretty supportive.
