Coming into this game, Bernadina has all of two hits and zero walks. Why exactly is this guy leading off?

Not a bad inning by Redding, a little over 10 pitches... sitting at 41 pitches total now (versus Fogg's 43)

Hearing Bob Carpenter do the promos for "Under One Roof" are almost as bad as listening to Debbi Taylor.

Terrible. We should have 3.28 runs off of Fogg (9.85 ERA entering the game) at this point in the game.

Fogg's ERA is plummeting, as expect when a bad pitcher plays the Nationals.

To be fair, that 9.85 ERA is only for 28 innings he has pitched this year (only 4 starts), his career ERA is closer to 5.00 and has consistently been in the 4.50-5.50 range each season he has pitched.

He's trash. He has a career 5.03 ERA. Just because our offense is crap doesn't mean the opposing pitcher is good.

Yeah but that does not mean that we should have 3.28 runs off of him.

Every other team in the Majors would at least have that many. Our offense is little league.

I've gotten past the point of complaining about this offense... they aren't just slumping. They are terrible. So I just sit back and watch, and be happy if they do well, but whatever. People expect too much of this team. Our minor league system was completely trashed when we got here, and we've rebuilt it, but we had to sacrifice major league $ to do that.

Has anyone else noticed that Jay Bruce has the exact same swing as Ken Griffey Jr.?

I think I see some similarity.  Regardless, they both have sweet swings.
