Bergmann will likely give up a slew of doubles/homers today. This game is going to be a laugher.

Yep it's over. Series over too. We now don't even have a chance to win the series now. I hope we get swept.

His K/BB ratio has been phenomenal.  He's just been too hittable.

:?   :bball:  He's too susceptible to the beachball.

That was an unqualified beachball.  It missed badly.

Griffey's homer would have been a routine fly ball in Nationals Park.

I am glad to see Griffey will put Sosa in his rear view mirror soon though.

How can you be positive or optimistic with this team? It's impossible. We call it like we see it. It's asking a lot for us to score more than 2 or 3 runs. Giving up 2 runs in the first is a dagger to this team. You can almost guess they'll score at least 6 or 7 today. Odds we score that many? remote.

No way. That would've been a double.

As terrible as Bronson Arroyo is, it's extremely difficult for this team to score three runs which they'll need to win and that's assuming the Reds stop scoring runs.

I think he means that if you're ON the team you need to be confident that you can battle back (it is only the 2nd inning) or you won't even have a chance to come back.
