#1 on Top Plays, Sportscenter?
« Topic Start: July 01, 2008, 09:05:55 AM »
For a walk-off against the worst team in the NL? Really? Are you kidding me? It just poked over the wall. Someone at ESPN actually hates the Nats. A bunch of teenagers playing for 45 of their closest friends hit a lucky walkoff against a terrible team and its the #1 highlight? You can't make this stuff up.

That's pretty good when you consider you had a world record set in the 100m sprints in the Olympic track and field trials and 400m IM by Michael Phelps at the olympic trials and the EURO Cup finals.  So, on any other normal day, he would have been #1.

Sorry to take ESPN's side this time.

The Marlin announcer's HR call was pathetic. That guy screams like a little girl.
