Manning should have been brought in to pitch this inning. 3 out of the 4 hitters were lefty.

i actually said that but deleted it when ayala came in again

I can't blame Ayala for this. Honestly the offense is responsible for this BS.

Manny ruined his good outing by sending him out there for an unprecedented third inning. This is all relative though. The offense is the reason why we lose every game.

That was great pitching by Manning. Why in the heck didn't he start the inning to face the lefties again?

If Hanrahan comes in he will walk the first batter he faces. This team is so awful that Acta is doing double switches in the 12th inning  :?  This also leaves our bullpen with Colome and Shell.

He's terrible despite what some people might tell you. Manny freaked this inning to hell though by bringing Ayala out to pitch another inning. Oh well, we settle for losing here in D.C.

That inning isn't on Joel.  It is on Manny first, and Luis second.

Calm down guys, he gave up a single and got an out.... most of the time thats not bad, he just wasn't in a great situation. Blame the offense, but don't blame the pitching for giving up 2 runs in 12 innings.

He deserves some static. Regardless of the circumstances his job is to go out and retire hitters and he didn't get it done. This game is still on the offense though. And let's not let Acta off the hook for the decision to leave Ayala in for a 3rd consecutive inning. He wound up burning TWO more arms anyway.

You're unbelievable dude. If Hanrahan had left 2 runners aboard and Ayala had come in to do what Hanrahan did you would call him a bum.

Yeah, Manny really made a stupid blunder. I would have just assumed that he leaved Manning in to face Jones anyways.

The offense lost us this game though. 1 run in 12 innings? Please.
