That wasn't hit and run. It was a full count with 2 outs.
oh, I thought it was a 3-1 count.

I don't think he lives in the area so I doubt he's at the game. He was posting in the GDT last night.

Btw, Boone is one awful hitter. He has no plate awareness or patience at all. He chases the first thing within 3 feet of the strike zone.

We pretty much ruined him when we first took him out of the starting lineup. He was hitting .333 at that point, and he's hit .209 ever since. We love to ruin our players' hot streaks.

We did. You don't remember? He was kicking ass and hitting over .300 and then they decided to bench him in favor of Lo Duca/Estrada. He has never been the same hitting-wise since then. Of course he was probably playing over his head but benching him during his hot streak is stupid anyway you cut it.
