I want to see a power surge from the Nats. I want to see at least 2 bombs in the remaining of the game.

I really do see Dukes and Lopez as the biggest power threats in this lineup. Flores is up there, too, but I've always thought that Lopez could be a HR hitter if that was his approach. He's got the power.

If Dukes could add a home run to those stats consistently, he'd be our top dog.

But It is his approach. He goes up trying to hit a HR every time. He's got 2 HRs in 240 ABs.

Ugh, Milledge didn't even give Dukes a chance to run.

Dukes has really improved.  Meanwhile, Milledge has really slumped of late.

I'd say it's a near lock that Redding gives up at least 1 run in this inning.

I don't think it's his approach. I think he just missed a lot for a while there. Now that he's lower in the order, we should be seeing better overall ABs from him. He just doesn't have a leadoff hitter's mentality.

3-0 count fly out for Hamilton. Dumb ass. He just bailed out Tim BIG TIME.

And to think that we had people here that hoped/wanted him to fail :?

It's going to take more than our bullpen to win this game. We need some runs. We need a couple of HR's.

Quality start for Tim. That sort of makes it even more frustrating. We should be up 2-0 right now.

You have no idea how happy I am that I was wrong about Dukes. I had my doubts but he's shown me a lot of potential and I think he's going to be a stud for us.

I'd take that and/or 5 extra base hits of any kind.

For the record, I don't think you were one of those people but in all fairness, AZ is partly to blame for it

That's pathetic Dmitri. 2-0 count groundout.

But it could have been a lot worse. Some pitchers wouldn't be able to come back from that type of inning. The final line is most important, IMO. Our offense still owes our pitchers 1,568,456 runs.

That's a tough pitch to hit. Pretty impressive there.
