Did Randy run over your puppy or something?

Yes, ANOTHER reason to send him to the minors, for re-education.

I'd bet anything that the Saint informed Bowden, or somebody, of Hill's condition.

Anyone who can read a box score knows that Hill's a long reliever at best now.  When his elbow actually FALLS off, they'll figure it out.

That was funny. The kid wouldn't even let his brothers/friends look at the ball he had just caught.

Not being able to throw between starts is a dead giveaway.

Because we're in a pennant race and .... because we're morons!

Or it could also be that Hill didn't want to go on the DL so that he wouldn't be labeled another TRJPWH. I think it's too late for that.

Why would Hill worry about that? JP kept saying everything was fine. Hill at least says "This crap is dicked up".

Well it's obvious that what people suspect about our organization is correct. They have issues diagnosing injuries, placing players on the DL and holding players accountable for their lack of production. They need to let Hill rest for the rest of this wasted season to see if he can heal up completely and contribute next season.

That's actually how we Pattersoned Patterson.  He said he was healthy, so we released him.  Either put Hill on the DL, (and bring up Clippard), or Patterson him.  Let Dukes do it, if Bowden's afraid to do it...

what do you know Hanrahan gives up more runs.

Except for Jon Rauch, I don't trust anyone in this bullpen.

Forfeiting games may be less embarrassing at this point.

PA - yeah but they can still just release him.  He's been sitting out a lot of games recently, I think they may be fed up.  But then again they could always just screw us all and keep sending him out there the rest of the season.
They have an option on him for '09.  Can't they just decide not to renew him?

Well he has a player option, if we don't exercise the team option. This is his last year before FA, but he signed the deal with option attached. Maybe since he's still arby, we can cut him now. I would.

It would guarantee Manny that he'd get on Sports Center, without requiring a dugout argument with Dukes.

Glen Perkins yielded 3 runs in 8 innings (his longest outing of the year) against the lowly Nationals.

That's gold.  Might as well coin it, since Pena will be around for a while like a cockroach.

If Pena is still on the roster after we recall Mock, any faith I have left in this organization will be shattered.

Maybe Casto will be traded - he's not playing. The oblique thing could be a ruse.
