CLIP GETS HIS FIRST WIN AS A NATIONAL!

THE BEST UP AND COMING CATCHER IN BASEBALL, JESUS FLORES, WITH THE DECISIVE 2 RUN HOMER!

:pimp: WITH THE INSURANCE DOUBLE (HIS SECOND ON THE NIGHT) IN THE 9TH but we wouldn't need it because...

RAUCH WAS FLAT OUT FILTHY! striking out the side swiftly 1-2-3.

it's time to break out the brooms. i am not satisfied winning the series, we must sweep the mariners.

GO NATS!

Did you guys hear that Clippard will be auctioned back to Columbus to make room for Loduca to return tomorrow?

Why not Langerhans or Casto? Who's starting next time Odie is up?

Well if we can do the thing where we call him up again for his next start, I'm fine with that.

That is puzzling because according to Sutton and Carpenter Perez is not eligible for another 12 days. Maybe they are wrong. I'll go back and listen to the presser again.

He said he will get more opportunities at some point in the future but was clear that he will be optioned down to make room for LoDuca in time for the series in Minnesota.

You can't. The reason he was able to be recalled before the 10 days were up was because Perez was injured and went on the DL. Now there is no way for Clippard to be recalled until the home series against Baltimore at the earliest.

I think it'll be casto.  We need Clippard.

So then we probably have to call up Garrett Mock for the next start then.

We do have a day off on Monday so they are probably going to use that to skip over the vacant spot. However, if Sutton and Carpenter were correct in saying Perez won't be available until the 26th, there will be a spot start needed on the 21st. That may fall one day shy of Clippard being recalled so it could very well fall to Mock.

Makes sense...
