How so? (the first part)
The only pitcher that has pitched over 100 pitches this year for any of our minor league teams was Jason Bergmann.
Our pitchers in the Minors usually go 5 innings and at the most they'll go is 6. Even if their pitch count is reasonable after 5 or 6 they are not allowed to go another inning or even two more.
perhaps.but I think it is a direct result of taking too many pitches to get your outs. regardless of how many innings you throw in the minors, it shouldn't take you more than 100 pitches to get through the 5th.
