You may have a better time of it when the season nears. Right after they got knocked out of the playoff doesn't seem like a good time to increase membership.

Natsman is very good at reviving dead threads. :)

By the way, sorry mate, I'm a Spurs fan. And the local paper reports that a couple who met on the Spurs message board just got married!

Seriously, a lot of very popular and long-standing Wizards boards are already out there; I'm sure there's not room in the market for another.  New teams, like the Oklahoma Sonics (name TBD), don't have large internet forum communities already created, and therefore, there is an opening for creation of a new forum.  Much like this forum being created for the newly founded Washington Nationals ballclub.
