Dan calls him "Bellicheat".  All of what you all are saying about Belli... is what I was referring to when speaking of his lack of class.  I totally understand being upset w/ losing.  I don't expect a happy, chipper man.  But respectful, cordial or even being a better sport would have been a better start.

Bellicick showed how classless he was. Not one word after the game about the Giants being a good or better team today than the Pats. His leaving the field cements my feeling that he is a very talented but ultimately failed coach. The ancient Greeks would have enjoyed today's game.

It didn't really affect the outcome so it's not important as far as I'm concerned. He was disappointed and I can't blame him for feeling that way. But he is considered a major jerk so maybe he had it coming. I can't imagine how awful the Patriots are feeling. I bet their message boards got a lot of visitors taunting them tonight.

I doubt they feel they were abandoned but there is no question that he should not have left the field. If one of his players had done that he would've fined them.

Especially the way he undercut them early in the season. He was loving the way they were struggling early in the season and it looked like he was doing all he could to cause friction and controversy for them. He won't be getting any SB jewelry.

Brady's last two losses were to the Manning boys. Seriously though at the end of that game on 3rd down when Brady went deep to Moss he was just a little short. If he had thrown that one yard deeper the ball would've been caught inside the 10  :shock:

Speaking of jerks, what about that prick Jeremy Shockey?  Instead of being on the sidelines supporting and cheering on his teammates he was up in a suite boozing with his buddies. freak him, I hope they don't give him a ring.

I would say he has a broken leg but I believe I saw him on the sidelines in the first half. Watch carefully when they replay the game and you may spot him there in the 1st half.

I only bow down to the pass-first offense. Can we PLEASE implement that here now?

Alright, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt I guess.  Still doesn't mean he isn't' an jerk.   :lol:

I always feel that you're almost better off being up by 3 than 4 at the end of big games. down by 3 teams will tend to become satisfied with settling for the tie when they get into field goal range and become a little more conservative in their playcalling. Down by 4 and knowing that a field goal doesn't help makes teams desperate, like a wounded animal, and if they score they can break your back by leaving no time on the clock to counter.

You don't have to wait that long.  They are competing in the Double Stuf (Oreo) Racing League in New Orleans.  You can enter for a chance to lick Oreos against the Brothers`Manning and win $10,000.  2,000 winners will win their very own, very official DSRL Training Kit with:

    * Cooler
    * Two milk glasses
    * Headband
    * DSRL Jersey

Seriously... See:

Oh, by the way, I picked the Giants to win the Super Bowl.  The Patriots were the only NFL team that refused to wear Sean Taylor's number 21 on the back of their helmets, preferring to continue wearing 91 for their deceased teammate.

This has become an issue. I think 3 other players died this season. How many of you recall seeing the 91 decal (or that of any other NFL player) on the Redskins helmets for their entire season?

What did everyone think of Bellichick going into the locker room with 1 second left?

Randy Moss did that a couple of years ago. All the talking heads said what a terrible teammate he was,lack of respect etc... It seems to me a head coach doing it is much worse.
