New Posts/Threads Not Displayed?

When I click "show new unread posts since last visit" I don't always get all new threads. In scanning the various areas, I have found threads I've missed, like "Gunga Galunga" and one from Kim on getting together for lunch. Does clicking this only bring up threads I've already seen but not posted in? Thanks.

If you visit without checking new threads and then visit again later, new threads/posts from your previous visit shouldn't be marked "new" anymore (which is by design as far as i can tell), so that could be the reason.

Finally somebody has the same problem I do.

Are you using AOL?  For some reason, when I'm using AOL as my browser, it does not load fresh threads, nor update what threads I've read.  It's loading old pages from cache I guess.  I have to log on with IE separately to make it work for me.

Yes AOL is the culprit. I have the same issue when I use AOL.

It's got to be some default setting, some #$@% technogeek thing that is buried in the bowels of your options.  I feel your pain.
