Jamey rolled his ankle.  He's walking pretty well - hopefully he won't be out for too long.  I suspect he won't be available for tomorrow or maybe the game after that.

Wow, Chief and Nationalz, you guys really believe in covering your bases, don't you? Well, I hope you don't have to feel less embarrassed.

They said he was walking okay, but you can walk fine with a torn ACL.  I'd say there's a 99% chance it'll be fine; just a day-to-day thing.

one more out and John Patterson will have pitched his second complete game giving up one run in the first inning all after missing a start and being sick. Damn, this guy's amazing

How are you following it?  I've got the radio on across the room and generally type important things when they're announced.

Izark I think you might have misread what I meant by that.  I just mean that if we don't make it, if they were ignoring us anyway, at least we won't have to listen to all those blowhards at ESPN blather on about us and talking smack like they have been all season :x

The online MLB feeds are delayed by about half a minute, or maybe a minute.

Please remember to mention my theory: Pod People have abducted Guzman and replaced him with a clone.

We need to get some more pods.

Whoops: that's a hefty delay.  Sorry for ruining the suspense for anyone.

This series is a lot like XTC's Black Sea.  I really like the first side, but there remains to be heard the second.  Side 2 comes tomorrow night.

Well, it's off to bed for me.  I've been awake for 20 hours today with only two short naps... absolutely exhausted but the game was well worth it.

G'night everyone

Fantastic.  You'll like side two even more.  It has possibly the band's best-ever song in "Towers Of London" and two runners-up in "Burning With Optimism's Flames" and "Travels In Nihilon."  Plus the "big single" in "Sgt. Rock (Is Going To Help Me)."

BANG! ZOOM!  I LOVE THIS FRICKIN' TEAM!  THEY'RE GIVING US A REASON TO CARE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE END!
