3 for AO, 2 for Laich, 2 for Bradley.  What a freaking game.  I've never seen anything like it.  10 to 2, just incredible.   :pimp:

Both.  We dominated the entire game pretty much.  Boston had some good chances too but Huet/Kolzig did a good job.  Tim Thomas who usually shuts us down was pathetic, especially in the first.  The only bad thing about this is that Boston is going to pissed off when we play them on Saturday at their place.  That'll be a real tough one.

in much the same way that i dont get too upset when the caps get off 40 shots and lose 2-1, i'm not that excited about a 34 shot/10 goal performance.  i think there is a pretty random distribution of shots that go in on any given night. tonight we skewed towards the "in" side.  the caps probably didnt play much better than they did in some other games

Totally dominated.  The Boston Globe characterised it as a beatdown "administered by a combination of Gretzky's oilers and the Broad Street Bullies"...it was somethin'

Huet was tight (for 2 periods anyways)...goaltending made a big difference.  Bruins had a vacuum in the net.

What a game! AO looked great, had some nice passes his way. Great goaltending all the way around for the Caps. Felt bad for Thomas as the crowd started chanting "we want Thomas" when he got benched. Nice punches from Donald as well......Have been lucky enough to see 2 AO hat tricks this season. Here we come playoffs!

Really huge game against Buffalo tonight. They're 3 points ahead of us in the playoff race. The Flyers have the 8th seed right now and are only 4 points ahead. Looks like Huet won't be ready to come back yet and Kolzig will get the start.

Another must-win.  Buffalo is very tough, especially at home but we should have the advantage since they are playing the second game of a b2b.

Ovechkin's got two so far. About 2:30 left and we're up 3-1. Come on, Caps!
