isnt there a period left?
The Caps are winless if they are trailing after 2 periods this season.

thats an irrelevant stat.  there have been games when they have been losing in the third and won what diifference does it make if you go in down, or end up being down within the third?

Lehtonen > Capitals.

He single-handedly beat the Caps tonight.  Man it must be nice to have your goalie actually win games for you.  Against an average goalie the Caps would have scored 5-6 goals tonight.

What a nice shot! We got at least one point in this one.

I'm feeling another Green game-winner...

I seriously think there should be a shortened period of 3-on-3 before the shootout.

Screw the shoot out! What's wrong with ties?

Sigh.. How predictable.  Kolzig is terrible.   At least we stole 1 point although we should have blew them out in regulation.   3-way tie for first now in the SE.

Yes it is, especially considering that half of our games left are against the SE.

Olie folded during the OT/SO, but a point on the road beats a kick in the eye.

Did you see the WaPost story today about the "Dads & Sons" trip this weekend?  Pretty cool.

Yeah, that's pretty neat.  How long are the Dads staying with the team?

Sort of a long weekend, from the sounds of it...seems like our SE Division silver bullet just got loaded LOL

He looks terrible and the team in general is just out of sorts.  Ovechkin even looks off.  I just don't understand why we are having so much trouble against these SE teams.

This team has no shot at winning the division unless things change.  We just can't hang with the rest of the SouthEast teams.  They are all getting better and we are starting to fade.

This team isn't even playing exciting hockey anymore.  They aren't scoring goals, they aren't playing physical.  0-3-1 in the last 4 games against divisional opponents.

Yeah, this was a pretty bad game. Hopefully we can figure something out for the game against the Lightning tomorrow.
